We believe in observability without compromise, and in Tsuga to deliver it

Guest post from Kiiro: why cutting telemetry to control cost costs you visibility too, and why Kiiro chose to partner with Tsuga so teams can keep both.

Unacceptable compromises

At Kiiro, we support organizations that build tomorrow's applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS). To run properly, these applications emit several kinds of telemetry: logs, technical and business metrics, and traces. The application and customer portfolios of our clients keep growing, which generates a massive amount of data. To keep costs from rising at the same pace, some organizations have chosen to tackle the structural problems through refusal, reduction and limitation. We believe this is a fundamental mistake.

When we work with these systems, we find the data spread across several solutions, each with its own query language and its own specifics. We have had to accept trade-offs and reduce the quantity and quality of the data emitted, only for the cost problem to come back, this time with a visibility problem on top of it.

Our experience shows that organizations choose tools suited to their needs. These tools are not necessarily the most expensive, nor the most complex to deploy, use and maintain, quite the opposite. Done well, this strategy is optimal: each tool strengthens the capabilities of the teams and contains technical and human costs. That is why, when we met Tsuga, we understood that their approach deserved to be shared and encouraged. Convinced, we naturally decided to join forces.

Today, we are proud to announce that Kiiro is becoming an official partner of Tsuga. Tsuga brings the essential building block for improving your observability: it streamlines costs while removing the compromises that limit your visibility, making observability useful, usable and used.

A common-sense approach

Observability draws its value from a rich, relevant context. When a team is mobilized, a pile of hundreds of noisy lines makes resolution harder. In that situation, the context that gathered the error encountered, the user, the application version and any other critical information would have made the investigation easier and shortened the time to resolution.

A modern platform goes further: it correlates the logs, metrics and traces coming from applications and from the infrastructure that hosts them. Between the initial alert and the analysis in the console, the platform automatically assembles every signal available, provided they were emitted in the first place.

Yet raw data is expensive to extract, ingest and store. High-performing observability requires a large quantity of high-value signals, and in most organizations we see that quantity shrinking through sampling, filtering and a reluctance to publish more than necessary for fear of growing the bill. This is a logical response to an underlying problem: teams are living with an observability tool whose costs and limits they do not control.

Standards such as OpenTelemetry define the formats of observability data and how it is communicated. They make it possible to keep that data with you, in the same cloud environment that hosts your applications. And because Tsuga manages the infrastructure, you can concentrate on enriching your telemetry. This is the principle of Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC). This is where Tsuga stands apart:

  • A unified platform rather than a collection of specialized tools;

  • Hosting your observability in your own cloud, to keep infrastructure costs to a strict minimum;

  • An underlying infrastructure managed by Tsuga, so you benefit from updates and new features without the burden;

  • Assured governance, through the use of open standards and by hosting the solution in the geographic region of your choice.

Kiiro's value proposition

As recognized experts, named "Rising Star Consulting Partner of the Year 2026" in France by AWS (source), we are ideally positioned to deploy Tsuga's Bring Your Own Cloud model. Observability is a cornerstone of our projects, whether they involve data, migration, operations or artificial intelligence (AI). Our wish is to make Tsuga both the observability partner to favor and the ultimate observability platform.

In addition, as part of our managed services offering, we operate infrastructure so that it gets the most out of AWS. We apply that know-how to your observability: we take care of the platform so that you can amplify its operational impact.

We work closely with Tsuga to offer a set of solutions suited to your needs, including a support program for migrating your observability solution. Contact us to learn more about our vision and to discover what this partnership can bring you.
